By accessing or using KidTales at kidtales.io (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
KidTales is an AI-powered platform that generates personalized audio stories for children. Stories are delivered via private podcast feeds that can be accessed through standard podcast applications. The Service is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use KidTales. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
KidTales offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our billing provider, Clerk. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
Stories generated by KidTales are created using AI and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may listen to and share stories within your family. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly broadcast generated content without our written permission.
6. Content Safety
All generated stories are filtered for age-appropriate content. We make reasonable efforts to ensure stories are family-safe, but AI generation can occasionally produce unexpected results. If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it to us immediately.
7. Limitation of Liability
KidTales is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
